Well as the title says, we are working on the end effector this week. We plan to have it just about finished by the end of the week. Also, we did not do as well as we hoped on the SolidWorks version of our robot, but we plan to spend more time on it now to make sure it is ready. We can do this team!
Not much has changed since our last post. We are still working on building the arm and continuing to program. Our goal is to have the arm completely functional by the end of this week. Keep up the good work team!
Our chassis has been completed and we have added some basic functions into the programming of our robot. We are continuing to the build the end effector and are working on the SolidWorks version of our robot.
Hope everyone is okay from the hurricane. That was a nice long break, but now back to the grind. Our robot functions! Our goal is to finish constructing the arm and have it fully functional by the end of the week. We would like to begin practicing in the arena by next week.
Not much has changed since our last post. We are continuing to build our robot and have started to construct different ideas for the end effectors. Stay safe during the hurricane everyone... we will resume some time next week.
Great first week everyone! We have completed the chassis of our robot and added in the cortex and the battery. We are still working on the design for the end effector since we are not sure which concept we want to go with (we hope to incorporate multiple ideas to make our robot achieve its fullest potential). Next, we want to construct our robot on Solidworks and begin programming are robot. We hope to finish building are robot early so we have plenty of time to practice before the challenge starts.
Welcome back! We are back to building robots and this time, we hope to use our past experiences with our robots from last year and excel in this years challenges. Our first challenge is VEX IN THE ZONE. So far, we have built the chassis of our robot including the wheels and motors. By the end of this week, we hope to have the main structure designed and completed. Good luck everyone!
